I get an error when I replace small or large with medium. By the way, you only need one font switch command inside the table and braces are not required since table forms a group, so you can simply say something like this:. If you need to fine tune the size of a table, you can include it in a scalebox from the graphicx - or graphics-package and scale the table to fit.
If you need more options, you can use the adjustbox-package. A warning : Arbitrary adjustments of different tables will result in different font sizes. This may look ugly.Guerre 2021 france

To create it with geometry is easy, include this one line in the preamble:. The parameters passed to the command determine the layout. In this case a4paper establishes the paper size and the total parameter determines the size of the text area. Open an example of the geometry package in Overleaf. Paper size, orientation and margins are the most common page elements that must be changed depending on the type of document.
For example, let's create a document with legal paper size, landscape orientation and a 2 in margin:. As you see, the parameters are comma separated. For a complete list of predefined paper sizes, see the reference guide. The second parameter is the orientation, its default value is portrait. Finally, each margin is set to 2 in. The regular L a T e X page dimensions are presented with example values in picture at the right of this section. The geometry package provides a flexible and easy interface to change page dimensions.
You can change the page layout with intuitive parameters:. Next is a list of document elements whose length can be changed. Here the text area, the left margin and the top margin are set. The right and bottom margins are automatically computed to fit the page.

The standard classes, article, report and book support 3 different font sizes, 10pt, 11pt, 12pt by default 10pt. The font size is set through the optional argument, e.
Should you require a different font size for your document, use the extsizes package. It allows for the following font sizes: 8pt, 9pt, 10pt, 11pt, 12pt, 14pt, 17pt, 20pt. The KOMA-script and memoir classes are more flexible when it comes to font sizes. Please see the documentation for more details. A table of the exact font sizes in points can be found on wikibooks.
When using another font type, such as the Adobe Times Roman equivalent available in the PSNFSS package see example belowhowever, you can benefit from that font size. Note: The figure is scaled and therefore does not show the actual font size. It illustrates the difference between the font sizes. Here is alternative, more flexible approach. The baseline-skip should be set to roughly 1. Again, this only works with a non-standard font type. And again, it does not show the actual font size.

The following will locally reconfigure everything as if a different size agrument had been given to the document class. I assume not every setting will be effective though. But at least all the sizing macros will be appropriately redefined. Note: This is based on loading the original size definitions of the book class named bk For using with another class for instance articlethe prefix bk used in. Some classes like memoir support a wider range of sizes.
For example, if a package uses code like.Qualifiche formula 1
It is only more or less close to it. An easy way would be to create a 10pt document for the summary and include its pdf output within the 12pt document.
You could use the pdfpages package for that purpose. If the normal size is 12pt, the text enclosed in the group will be in 10pt. The text size of the header and the footer will keep unaltered. Sign up to join this community. The best answers are voted up and rise to the top.
